Refund Policy

Why it works this way
A sectional is only useful if you haven’t seen the questions before you sit it — that’s the entire point of it being sealed and unseen. The moment you open a sectional and start the clock, you’ve seen the content, and we can’t take that back. So starting a sectional is the line: the credit you spent on it is ours, and every credit you haven’t spent is still yours. We’d rather say that plainly than bury it in fine print.
What counts as using a credit
Starting means opening the exam room for a scored attempt — the point at which the clock begins and the questions are served to you. Nothing before that spends a credit: browsing the map, reading a briefing, or buying credits and sitting on them all leave your balance untouched. Credits never expire, so there is no deadline pressing you to spend one before you’re ready.
If you bought a pack
Credit packs are discounted — the more credits in the pack, the less each one costs. That discount is for actually using the pack, so when you refund part of one, the credits you already used are charged at our standard single-credit price and we refund the rest of what you paid.
An example: you buy a ten-credit pack, sit one sectional, and ask for a refund. We charge that one sectional at the single-credit price and refund everything else. You’ve paid exactly what one sectional costs, and you’re not out the other nine.
If you’ve used enough of a pack that those credits are worth more than you paid for the pack, there’s nothing left to refund. The refund stops at zero — we will never ask you for money back on top of what you already paid.
If something is wrong with the product
This policy is about changing your mind. It isn’t a way of refusing you when the product is broken. If a sectional is faulty — a question with no correct answer, an exam that won’t load, a clock that misbehaves — tell us and we’ll make it right, refund included, whether or not you started it and whether or not the credit is spent.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@quantspell.com, use our contact form, or contact Paddle directly using the link in your receipt email — any works, since Paddle, as Merchant of Record, processes the actual refund. Include which order you’re asking about; your receipt email or order ID helps us find it fast.
Once a refund is approved, it’s returned to your original payment method by Paddle, and the refunded credits come off your balance. Card refunds usually land within 3–5 working days and PayPal refunds within about 48 hours; in all cases Paddle processes approved refunds within 14 days. Your bank or card issuer can add a little time on top of that.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you — for example, statutory rights around faulty digital content or distance selling in your country. This policy describes when we offer a refund voluntarily; it doesn’t take away rights you already have by law.
