Terms of Service
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These Terms govern your use of QuantSpell. Please read them — the sections on sectional content and refunds matter most.
Overview
QuantSpell (“QuantSpell”, “we”, “us”) operates a GMAT Focus quant sectional platform at quantspell.com (the “Service”). QuantSpell is operated by Junlajak Jongpipattanakul, an individual developer based in Thailand.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Not affiliated with GMAC
GMAT™ and GMAT Focus Edition™ are registered trademarks of the Graduate Management Admission Council™ (GMAC). GMAC does not endorse, nor is it affiliated in any way with, the owner or any content of this Service. We use those names only to describe what our practice material prepares you for.
Our questions are original work written in the style of the exam. They are not official questions, they are not reproductions of official questions, and nothing here is sourced from a live or retired official test form.
Your account
You need an account to sit a sectional, save your progress, and review your results. Sign-in is by email link — we send a one-time link to the address you give us. You’re responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure and for activity that happens under your account. Don’t share your account with anyone else — see “Sectional content” below for why that matters for paid content specifically.
You must be at least 16 years old to have an account, and at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to make a purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
What we sell
A sectional is a fixed-form, timed practice exam covering the quantitative section of GMAT Focus — 21 questions in 45 minutes, sat under exam conditions on a server-side clock. Sectionals are sold individually or in a pack, priced and described at checkout. Buying one gives you access to sit it in a single scored sitting, plus permanent access to your own report and the worked solutions for that exam. Where a practice retake is offered on an exam you have already sat, it’s unscored and clearly labeled as practice.
What we do not sell: verbal or Data Insights material, and any total GMAT score. The Service reports quant section scores on the 60–90 Q scale only.
Scores are estimates
Our sectionals are deliberately harder than the real exam, and the Q-band figure in your report is a provisional estimate produced by mapping your raw score onto the Q scale. It is not an official score, it is not produced by GMAC, and it does not predict or guarantee your result on a real GMAT Focus exam. We label it as an estimate everywhere it appears and recalibrate the mapping as we collect data; you should treat it as one signal among several, not as a forecast.
Payments — Paddle is the seller
All payments on QuantSpell are made through Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), acting as the Merchant of Record. That means Paddle — not QuantSpell — is the seller for every purchase: Paddle processes your payment, handles sales tax/VAT, issues your receipt or invoice, and handles chargebacks and payment disputes. Your card statement will show a charge from “PADDLE.NET* PHYSELO.”
QuantSpell never sees or stores your card details — Paddle handles all payment information directly. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s own Buyer Terms, shown to you at checkout.
Sectional content — your license to use it
Buying a sectional gives you a personal, non-transferable license to sit that exam, view your own results, and read its solutions. You don’t own the questions, solutions, trap explanations, or any other content in it — we do, or our licensors do.
Specifically, you agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, republish, or resell sectional questions, solutions, or trap explanations, in whole or in part
- Screenshot, photograph, record, or otherwise capture exam content for the purpose of sharing or posting it anywhere, privately or publicly
- Share your account with anyone else, or let someone else sit a sectional using your access
- Use bots, scripts, or any automated tool to extract exam content
Every page of exam content is watermarked with an identifier tied to your account, so leaked material is traceable back to the account it came from. We built these exams so that everyone sitting them gets a comparable score — that only works if the questions stay unseen for everyone who hasn’t bought them. If you break these rules, we can suspend or terminate your access to the Service without a refund, in addition to any other remedies available to us.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy for the full rules. In short: a sectional is fully refundable until you start it. Once you’ve started a sectional — or, for a pack, any sectional in that pack — it’s no longer refundable, because you’ve already seen the content.
Acceptable use
Beyond the sectional content rules above, please don’t:
- Use the Service for anything illegal, or to violate anyone else’s rights
- Try to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, our systems, or data you’re not meant to see
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service — for example, by overloading it, scraping it at volume, or bypassing rate limits
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with QuantSpell
Intellectual property
The Service — including its design, code, exam content, solutions, and branding — is owned by QuantSpell or its licensors, and protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of it to you. Third-party trademarks referred to on the Service, including GMAT™ and GMAT Focus Edition™, remain the property of their respective owners.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is.” We work hard to make the sectionals accurate and useful, but we don’t guarantee they’re error-free, that they’ll improve your exam score, or that the Service will run uninterrupted. Hard quant questions occasionally have mistakes — if you spot one, please tell us.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuantSpell is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us (below). We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms — in particular the sectional content rules — and no refund is owed in that case.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. If we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This is separate from your purchase agreement with Paddle, which is governed by Paddle’s own Buyer Terms.
